I'm a van driver who has had a Daily as a fleet backup. Pick carefully - there are so many lengths and heights, and payloads change a lot depending on the spec. The biggest loading bay is massive (almost 20m3) but heavier versions need different licences. Cab is basic, no overhead storage unless you pay extra, and the dash looks dated. Iveco's option packs make life easier than the old single long list, but you still end up ticking extras to get what other vans include. Dealer network is smaller than VW/Mercedes; parts and servicing are solid though, they know trucks and the 2.3 motor has a decent track record. I like the long service intervals and the 5yr cover, that matters when you run a rig every day. Not plush inside, but practical. If you want a simple, tough working van and don't care about creature comforts this will do the job.

I recently tried out the Renault Master, and overall, it feels well-crafted. The cabin space is indeed comfortable, with everything arranged conveniently for daily use. However, I did find the suspension a bit firm when the vehicle was unloaded. Driving it around city streets was easy due to its excellent turning radius.

Just took the Renault Master for a week-long courier job. The cabin's layout is practical and the visibility is excellent due to the large windscreen. Despite the well-cushioned seats, I felt the middle passenger's space was a bit cramped when I shared the van with my assistant on one of the days. Driving around narrow urban streets was smooth thanks to its tight turning radius. However, acceleration felt a bit sluggish on steep inclines, even with the mid-range 148bhp engine.

Had some experience with the updated Renault Master. The engine performance is commendable, offering enough power when needed. The visibility is surprisingly good thanks to large windows. Nonetheless, I wish the instrument panel design felt less dated.

Been running a fleet with a couple of these new Iveco Dailys (2024), so I spend a lot of time behind the wheel. The thing is super strong - you really feel it’s got a proper truck chassis, but that also means when you’re driving the 3.5t version, the payload isn’t as good as, say, a Crafter or Sprinter. If you always need to carry heavy stuff, not a deal breaker, but it’s something. Comfort is alright, especially if you get the memory foam seats - makes a difference on long journeys. Steering’s nice and light. I wish the interior felt a bit more upmarket but at least the controls are straightforward and there’s loads of cubbies. Fuel economy though, not the best. When fully loaded, you’ll be lucky to crack 27mpg. The long service intervals and that five-year warranty do help make up for it a bit.

Been behind the wheel of a few Dailys over the years. This latest one feels better sorted than older models. The steering is more connected now and City Mode really cuts the effort in tight town runs - handy when you do deliveries all day. I’d take the 2.3-litre 136bhp if you want a sensible balance; the 3.0/210 with HiMatic is the one I pick for heavy loads though, it pulls without whining. Cabin is practical: good storage up top, wireless phone charger and the air-suspended driver seat on Business Premium actually helps on long runs. Reversing camera and Apple CarPlay work as they should. Downsides - the Daily still drives like a big van, not a car, and the higher rear loading height from the new suspension bugs me sometimes when you’re lifting pallets. Also it’s pricey and the option list is confusing. Overall useful van, just expect to pay for it.

Used an IVECO Daily for transporting materials last month. It’s powerful and can hold a good amount of load. The controls are intuitive, but parking in tighter spaces was a bit of a challenge. Good for general use.

I've driven all sorts of vans over the years, so when I got the Sprinter for my delivery route, I was pretty keen to see what the hype was about. The first thing I noticed is the space in the back - you can actually fit tall and long items without trying weird angles. That wide sliding door saves you time on big parcels. The dashboard's tech is a bit over-complicated in my opinion-I could've done without the fancy voice controls most days. The touch screen was alright, although sometimes the sunlight made it pretty hard to see. Visibility is top notch out the front and those mirrors are huge, makes changing lanes less stressful. Wind noise is a headache on the motorway though. Been through a few services already, nothing too expensive but a couple of the techy bits come at a price. I still wish the cupholders fit a normal bottle. All in all, gets the job done.

I’ve spent considerable time with the Iveco Daily, mainly transporting mixed loads cross-country. The sheer cargo space is its standout feature - 19.6 cubic meters on the largest model is impressive. However, the interior does have a functional rather than luxurious vibe, with practicality taking precedence. Noise from the diesel engines can be more pronounced than expected, especially on highways. But overall, its maneuverability and durable build make it dependable for extensive use.

Drove the IVECO Daily extensively for deliveries. It's a sturdy vehicle, definitely up to the task. The driving experience is generally smooth, but the cabin ergonomics might not suit everyone over long durations. Noise levels at high speeds didn't bother me much though.
