Dieser Porsche Speedster wurde neu über den Porsche-Importeur Max Hoffman in New York für den US-Markt ausgeliefert
Es handelt sich um ein sehr seltenes und spätes Pre-A-Modell
Er wurde im Oktober 1955
kurz vor der Einführung des 356A
ausgeliefert und mit der Motornummer 60070 ausgestattet dem 70. gebauten 1.600-cm³-Porsche-Motor
Dieser Porsche Speedster wurde neu in Rot mit schwarzer Kunstlederausstattung ausgeliefert eine klassische Wahl für US-Kunden
Anschließend wurde der Speedster nach Italien gebracht
wo er viele Jahre lang stand. Vor 20 Jahren wurde er komplett restauriert
und vermutlich erhielt der Innenraum damals einen neuen Beigeton
Motor und Mechanik (Matching Numbers) wurden damals überholt. Die Heckhaube trägt die Werksmarkierungen
Vor Kurzem ging der Porsche nach Belgien
wo Motor und Getriebe erneut komplett überholt wurden. Das Auto befindet sich nun in einem ausgezeichneten mechanischen Zustand. Eine neue Kupplung
ein Ersatzreifen und ein neues Stoffverdeck (beige) wurden ebenfalls eingebaut
